Bar Service Options

Guests pay for their own drinks

 A set-up fee of $100 is required. The set-up fee will be waived if total bar sales exceed $250.

Guests do not pay for their drinks

 The host is billed for the entire amount at our cash drink prices. A set-up fee of $100 is required. The set-up fee will be waived if total bar sales exceed $250. Pricing will be based upon usage at $10.50 per liter for our house wines. Special wine requests will be honored based on market pricing.

Wine Service with Dinner

ASC reserves the right to request proof of age of any customer wishing to obtain alcohol at any scheduled event. Two forms of ID will be required. Bar service to an individual or group may be terminated at the discretion of the catering manager or his designate.

ASC is the sole, authorized and exclusive vendor of alcoholic beverages on campus property.

 All alcoholic beverages dispensed at approved campus events must be purchased and served by Campus Catering personnel. We encourage responsible drinking in moderation.

All functions with alcoholic beverages will adhere to the established SUNY Cortland Alcohol Review Committee Guidelines.

The ASC liquor license covers Corey Union only. When alcohol is requested for an event in Corey Union, an alcohol request form must be submitted for approval one month in advance by Campus Catering to the Vice President of Student Affairs. Requests for alcohol service for other campus locations must be submitted two months in advance to Campus Catering in order to allow time to secure a special permit from the N.Y. State Liquor Authority in Albany. A processing fee of $55 is charged for each permit and must be submitted one month prior to the date of the event.
