Can you mail me my cap, gown and/or graduation tickets?
Undergraduate commencement tickets are limited, and you must pick up and sign for them in person. We are unable to mail undergraduate caps, gowns or tickets. If you can’t pick up your own package, you may send someone to the College Store with a letter authorizing that person to get your Commencement materials. The letter must contain your signature and Cortland ID number, and the person picking up the materials must produce a photo ID before we release the items. If you’re unable to do this, contact the College Store to place the order on hold. We offer extended business hours the day of the ceremony to accommodate students who need to pick up their packages.
Graduate student commencement ceremonies require no tickets. Graduate students may order caps, gowns, tassels and hoods and have them held for pickup or shipped to them. Students unable to designate someone to pick up their Commencement packages prior to the ceremony should contact us to place their orders on hold. We offer extended business hours the day of the ceremony to accommodate students who need to pick up their packages.
